Advent Intentions

Let us pray for you and your intentions this Advent.

The word advent comes from a Latin word, advenire, meaning “to come to.” The timing is determined by the calendar and marks the start of a new liturgical year for Catholics.

For those who observe it, though, Advent is not only four weeks marked in time by the lighting of candles. It is also a precious opportunity for renewal and preparation, as we anticpate the arrival of Jesus, both as a baby born in humble circumstances—the “Word made flesh”— and in glory at the end of time.

The Lasallian Christian Brothers would like to accompany you on your Advent journey of preparation. Simply fill out the form below and send it back to us here at Mont La Salle. The Brothers’ community will include you and your intentions in our prayers every day during Advent “as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Savior.”

Wishing you a peaceful and blessed Advent season.

Fraternally,

Brother Mark Murphy, FSC
